Exact Staff is hiring a Part-Time Sales Associate for a professional association and member-services organization in Castaic, CA. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, providing excellent customer service, supporting sales and membership activities, and assisting with general office operations. The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, organized, dependable, and comfortable communicating with customers, members, and team members. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with weekly pay; schedule flexibility for occasional changes is required.

This position is ideal for individuals with customer service, sales, retail, or office experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Greet and assist customers, members, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• Provide information about products, services, memberships, and available programs
• Answer customer and member questions and provide accurate information
• Assist customers with purchases and sales transactions
• Process payments accurately using Point-of-Sale (POS) systems
• Maintain accurate transactions and customer records
• Assist with membership-related inquiries and requests
• Follow up with customers and members as needed
• Support sales and promotional activities
• Identify opportunities to provide additional products or services based on customer needs
• Maintain a professional, welcoming, and customer-focused environment
• Answer phones, respond to emails, and handle customer correspondence
• Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, and other basic administrative tasks
• Maintain accurate customer and membership information
• Prepare materials and supplies for customers, members, or events
• Maintain organized sales materials, merchandise, files, and work areas
• Assist with inventory, stocking, and restocking as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist with general housekeeping duties as needed, including cleaning bathrooms
• Lift and move boxes, merchandise, supplies, and other materials weighing approximately 40–50 lbs

Qualifications:

• Previous customer service, sales, retail, or office experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer and office skills, including email, filing, and scanning
• POS experience preferred
• Able to follow directions and solve problems
• Dependable, organized, and able to work well under pressure
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Willing to learn and take initiative
• Bilingual a plus, but not required
• Willing to assist with general cleaning and housekeeping duties
• Able to lift approximately 40–50 lbs
• Flexible and able to accommodate schedule changes as needed

Pay, Schedule, and Location:

• Pay Rate: $20.00–$21.00/hour, DOE
• Schedule: Part-Time, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• Shifts Available: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Location: Castaic, CA
• Temp-to-hire opportunity
