Machinist – Now Hiring
Exact Staff is hiring for our client in Oxnard for an experienced Machinist to join a growing team. This is a full-time opportunity for a skilled professional with experience in CNC and manual machining, precision measurement, and producing high-quality components in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities / Qualifications

As a Machinist, you will:

• Set up and operate CNC and manual machines, including lathes and mills
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Measure, cut, and shape materials to exact specifications
• Inspect finished parts using precision tools such as micrometers and calipers
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
• Perform routine maintenance and minor equipment repairs
• Maintain production and quality records
• Follow safety procedures and keep a clean, organized work area
• Recommend process improvements to support efficiency and quality

We’re looking for a Machinist who:

• Has 5+ years of machining experience preferred
• Has experience with CNC programming and manual machining
• Can read blueprints and technical drawings
• Understands machining processes, materials, and tight tolerances (up to +/- .0005”)
• Has basic math skills, including geometry and algebra
• Has CAD/CAM or welding experience (a plus)
• Can perform physical tasks in a production environment, including lifting up to 50 lbs

Work Environment

• Industrial manufacturing setting
• Exposure to machinery, noise, heat, dust, and oils
• Required use of personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and steel-toe footwear
