Job Description:
Are you detail-oriented and looking for a stable manufacturing opportunity? We are seeking Production Operators / O-Ring Finishers to perform precision finishing, inspection, and quality control of O-rings used in industrial applications. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, maintaining quality standards, and working in a production environment.
Responsibilities
- Finish and inspect O-rings using hand sanding and machine-assisted finishing equipment
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure products meet quality standards
- Use measuring instruments including calipers and Pi-tapes
- Follow written work instructions, specifications, and production procedures
- Complete inspection records and production documentation accurately
- Operate equipment such as spinners, buffers, and related finishing machinery
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Meet productivity, quality, and attendance expectations
- Work overtime and weekends as required to support production needs
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or quality inspection experience preferred
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
- Experience using measuring tools such as calipers preferred
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods throughout the shift
- Must successfully pass a vision and quality inspection assessment
- Steel-toe shoes required
Pay, Schedule & Location
Location: Newark, DE 19711
Pay Rates:
- 1st Shift: $18.00 per hour
- 2nd Shift: $19.00 per hour
Regular Shifts:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:15 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:15 PM
Overtime Shifts Available:
- 4:00 AM – 2:15 PM
- 2:15 PM – 12:30 AM
