Are you a recent science graduate looking to start your career in Quality Assurance? Exact Staff is seeking a motivated Quality Associate to join a growing Quality team in Ventura, CA. What You'll Be Doing:

•      Inspecting incoming materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

•      Performing in-process quality testing, including pH, viscosity, and water activity testing.

•      Reviewing production documentation and maintaining accurate quality records.

•      Supporting product release activities and inventory documentation within the ERP system (NetSuite).

•      Conducting environmental monitoring and assisting with microbiological testing.

•      Helping maintain quality documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), product specifications, and retention samples.

•      Supporting internal audits, regulatory inspections, CAPA investigations, and continuous improvement projects.

•      Learning food safety and medical device quality systems while building a long-term career in Quality Assurance.

Qualifications:

•      Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Food Science, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.

•      Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).

•      Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

•      Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

•      Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

•      Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

•      Laboratory coursework or hands-on experience in microbiology, chemistry, or food science preferred.

•      Familiarity with food manufacturing, food safety systems, or medical device manufacturing preferred.

•      Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite or similar software preferred.

•      Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and manage multiple priorities.

•      Reliable attendance required, including standing for extended periods and occasionally lifting up to 30 pounds.

•      Comfortable working in food and manufacturing environments with varying temperatures and required personal protective equipment (PPE).
