Job Description:
Our client is a family-owned real estate firm aiming to expand throughout southern California. We are seeking a bright and professional Real Estate Customer Service Representative to join our client’s office, in Downtown Los Angeles.
Hours: This is a Thursday to Monday position (with Tuesday and Wednesday off). The hours are from 10 am to 6 pm.
As the Real Estate Customer Service Representative, also called the Leasing Agent, your primary responsibility is to review the real estate leasing agreements sent to prospective tenants after they come in for their appointments to see the property. You will also be asked to show them the property, confirm their appointments, and help with other clerical duties as needed.
You will:
· Greet customers as they come in and confirm their appointments.
· Conduct preparation work, which includes going to the apartment space and ensuring the place is clean, lights are on, and everything looks presentable.
· Process the leasing agreements, send out the agreements, and ensure signatures are in the right places
· Enter the leasing agreements into the company system and send out the information to the corporate location in Calabasas.
· Show the customer the property and answer any questions that come up.
· Work with the appointment setter to document who came in.
· Conduct follow-up calls and see if the customer will be open to moving forward.
Finally, our client does offer commissions based on performance.
This is what we will be looking for in your candidacy:
· You have at least 1 year of front-desk customer service experience, preferably in Real Estate or something similar.
· You know how to conduct proper follow-up calls and follow through with those conversations.
· You have proper phone etiquette skills, and you speak well on the phone.
· You are presentable, clean, and well-kept.
· You carry yourself and speak with professionalism, as you will be the face of the company.
· You are proficient in the major Social Media platforms, and you are open to making videos, as well as posting them on the platforms themselves.
· You are used to working in a fast-paced work environment, under minimal supervision.
· You are open to working the hours and shifts listed above.
