Now Hiring: Remote Intake Specialist

Are you confident on the phone, detail-oriented, and able to stay calm under pressure? This is a fast-paced role where your work directly supports injured employees at the moment they need help most.

As an Intake Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for workplace injury calls, gathering accurate incident information and escalating cases to Registered Nurses for clinical triage.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from injured employees and supervisors
• Collect and document injury details accurately and efficiently
• Enter data into intake and reporting systems in real time
• Escalate calls to RN triage according to established protocols
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication and de-escalation skills
• Minimum typing speed of 45 WPM with high accuracy
• Ability to navigate multiple software systems simultaneously
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google tools
• Ability to follow scripts, workflows, and protocols
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to support a 24/7 operation
• Bilingual Spanish preferred

Preferred Experience

• Call center experience
• Medical intake or workers’ compensation background

Compensation and Details

• Pay range: $20.00–$23.00 per hour
• Full-time (temp-to-hire options may be available)
• Fully remote
