We are seeking a friendly, reliable Rental Agent to join a well-known car rental company in Bakersfield, CA. As a Rental Agent, you will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them with vehicle rentals, explaining terms and policies, and ensuring a smooth and positive rental experience.

Temp to Hire

Pay Rate: $17.00/HR

Must have open availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends  

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Assist with the check-in and check-out process for rental vehicles
• Explain rental policies, insurance options, and vehicle features
• Process payments, handle returns, and manage rental agreements
• Inspect vehicles before and after rentals for damage and cleanliness
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Resolve customer concerns or escalate as necessary
• Ensure the rental area is clean, organized, and fully stocked with marketing materials

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer service, sales, or rental experience required
• Must be at least 25 years of age
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills and the ability to operate point-of-sale systems
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Must be dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
