Seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Retail Store Clerk. As the face of the store, you will play a vital role in creating a positive shopping environment by greeting customers, assisting with product inquiries, managing inventory, and ensuring the store remains clean and organized.

• Location: Elkridge, MD 21075
• Description: This position is in a retail store – must have retail experience. Candidates must interview in person.
• Pay Rate: $16 per hour
• Schedule: Part-time, 3–4 days per week. Tuesdays and Fridays, every other Saturday, and likely Thursday

Core Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Warmly greet customers.

• Respond to product questions.

• Provide a friendly, helpful shopping experience.

Store Maintenance

• Stock shelves and rotate products.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.

Sales and Checkout

• Operate cash register.

• Handle financial transactions accurately.

• Ensure a smooth checkout process.

Inventory Management

• Process incoming shipments.

• Monitor inventory levels.

• Assist with related stock tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and team members.

• Customer Service: Friendly, customer-oriented attitude essential for delivering excellent service.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accuracy in stocking, inventory management, and cashiering tasks.

• Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods of time.

• Basic Math Skills: Proficiency in calculations involving whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

• Previous retail experience required.

• Reliable and punctual.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
