Exact Staff is hiring for our client a dependable Facilities & Sanitation Worker to support a meat and seafood processing facility. This entry-level role plays a critical part in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment by performing detailed sanitation, cleaning, and facility support tasks. Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize production areas, equipment, and floors using high-pressure hoses and approved cleaning chemicals

• Follow all USDA and SQF food safety and sanitation standards

• Monitor environmental conditions such as cleanliness and temperature

• Perform waste management duties, including removal, sorting, and proper disposal

• Complete required sanitation, cleaning, and environmental monitoring documentation

• Perform heavy lifting and operate cleaning equipment as needed

• Maintain hygiene and safety while working in cold and wet environments

• Assist with ground maintenance, including basic landscaping and outdoor upkeep

• Provide valet support as directed, including moving company vehicles or assisting with deliveries

• Support laundry and linen operations, including washing, folding, and distribution of uniforms or linens

• Work collaboratively with team members to meet sanitation and safety goals

• Follow all safety procedures to prevent accidents, contamination, or injury

Typical Qualifications:

• 0–3 years of experience in sanitation, facilities, or a related role (no prior experience required)

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods

• Comfortable working in cold, wet, and physically demanding environments

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and cleanliness

• Ability to read and complete basic documentation and checklists

• Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to assist where needed
