We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team at our Sanger, CA plant on the 3rd shift. Location: Sanger, CA
Hourly Pay: $17hr
Shift Monday-Friday 9:00pm-5:30am
- Execute thorough and efficient cleaning procedures to ensure a sanitized and safe manufacturing environment.
- Disassemble, clean, and reassemble manufacturing equipment according to established protocols.
- Utilize and handle cleaning solutions, detergents, and sanitizers in a safe and appropriate manner.
- Follow company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
- Wear and maintain proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times, including but not limited to gloves, goggles, masks, and uniforms.
- Remove waste and debris from production areas to designated disposal areas.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, scrubbers, and other tools as required.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to ensure efficient coordination of sanitation activities.
- Document cleaning activities, inspections, and any issues encountered during the sanitation process.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, damages, or potential safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and working cohesively with colleagues.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a sanitation or cleaning role, preferably within a food industry setting.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and protocols accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Basic understanding of chemical handling and proper use of cleaning solutions.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Flexibility to work 3rd shift hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
