Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team at our Sanger, CA plant on the 3rd shift. Location: Sanger, CA

Hourly Pay: $17hr

Shift Monday-Friday 9:00pm-5:30am

  • Execute thorough and efficient cleaning procedures to ensure a sanitized and safe manufacturing environment.
  • Disassemble, clean, and reassemble manufacturing equipment according to established protocols.
  • Utilize and handle cleaning solutions, detergents, and sanitizers in a safe and appropriate manner.
  • Follow company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Wear and maintain proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times, including but not limited to gloves, goggles, masks, and uniforms.
  • Remove waste and debris from production areas to designated disposal areas.
  • Operate cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, scrubbers, and other tools as required.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to ensure efficient coordination of sanitation activities.
  • Document cleaning activities, inspections, and any issues encountered during the sanitation process.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, damages, or potential safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and working cohesively with colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a sanitation or cleaning role, preferably within a food industry setting.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and protocols accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Basic understanding of chemical handling and proper use of cleaning solutions.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Flexibility to work 3rd shift hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new cleaning techniques and equipment.
