We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our clients team at a leading nut processing company in Madera. The Sanitation Worker is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the facility to maintain food safety standards.

 
Shift: 1st Shift
Employment Type: Full-Time, Temp-To-Hire

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Clean and sanitize equipment, production areas, and facility surfaces

·         Operate cleaning tools and equipment, including pressure washers and floor scrubbers

·         Follow strict safety and sanitation procedures in accordance with company policies and food safety regulations

·         Handle and properly store cleaning chemicals and supplies

·         Complete cleaning logs and other documentation as required

·         Assist with general labor tasks as needed

 

Qualifications:

·         Previous sanitation or janitorial experience preferred, especially in food manufacturing

·         Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English

·         Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift

·         Must adhere to PPE and safety requirements at all times

·         Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

 

Work Environment:

·         Fast-paced production environment

·         Exposure to wet, humid, and variable temperature conditions

·         Use of industrial cleaning chemicals
