Exact Staff is hiring dependable, detail-oriented Receiving and Shipping Clerks for a full-time seasonal opportunity, with potential to continue through December and possible extended employment. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast-paced warehouse environment, has basic clerical and math skills, and is committed to accuracy in inventory documentation and data entry.

This position is ideal for individuals with warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or clerical/data entry experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

Receiving Clerk:

• Counting cases and pallets as product is unloaded from field trucks
• Accurately entering receiving information into the company's inventory/CRM system
• Verifying shipment counts and maintaining accurate records
• Communicating effectively with drivers and warehouse personnel
• Working both outdoors in a covered receiving area and indoors performing data entry
• Following all warehouse safety procedures around forklift traffic and equipment

Shipping Clerk:

• Verifying product counts before shipments leave the facility
• Entering shipping information accurately into the company's inventory/CRM system
• Preparing and verifying documentation for outgoing shipments
• Coordinating with warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillment
• Maintaining accuracy while working in a fast-paced shipping environment
• Following all warehouse safety guidelines

Qualifications:

• Basic clerical and computer skills
• Basic math skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable with excellent attendance
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors as needed
• Comfortable working around forklifts and warehouse equipment
• Ability to stand, walk, and work extended shifts

Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
• Schedule: Full-Time, Seasonal, 8–10 hour shifts, averaging 40+ hours per week
• Receiving Department: Monday–Friday, occasional Saturdays, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Shipping Department: Monday–Saturday, 7:00 AM–10:00 PM
• Location: Bakersfield, CA 93307
