Burbank, CA | Full-Time | 1st Shift – 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday

We are hiring for one of our big clients in the Burbank area. We are searching for a top-tier Senior Accounting Manager to join our client’s office.

This position is the office's top accounting authority, reporting directly to the organization's President. You must be able to take ownership and responsibility of the entire accounting system and possess a fundamental understanding of corporate and inventory accounting.

What You’ll Be Doing:

•        Conduct monthly financial reporting, coordinating the Profit/Loss statements, and maintaining the general ledger

•        Support journal entries and documentation

•        Month-End and Year-End Close, which includes reconciliations of all accounts on the Balance Sheet

•        Review of A/R, A/P and Open Purchase Orders

•        Maintain inventory valuation

•        Coordinate with Operations on the inventory items, including cost, price, and individual descriptions

•        Work with the warehouse and shipping teams to maintain accurate inventory numbers.

•        Prepare 1099s and other year-end reporting

•        Work with the accounting assistant on daily deposits, which includes ACH, checks, and processing credit cards

•        Enter sales and purchase orders into the system on occasion

•        Respond to customer inquiries

•        Light office management

•        Aid the payroll team in processing payroll and maintaining time-off records.

Qualifications:

·         At least 5+ years of experience in high-level accounting.

·         You must have experience in accounting for inventory, warehouse operations, or something similar.

·         Preferably, you have management experience

·         You are proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and Excel

·         Bonus points if you know QuickBooks Enterprise

·         You know how to improve an accounting system and can help troubleshoot errors as they come in

·         You can work independently and take control of the situation when needed

Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Pay Rate: 90-100K per year
• Schedule: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm)
• Shifts Available: 1st Shift (Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm)
• Location: Burbank, CA
