Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Stand-Up Forklift Operator with computer data entry skills to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a stand-up forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Additionally, the candidate should possess excellent computer data entry skills to accurately record inventory transactions and maintain electronic records.

 

Pay Rate: $18.00/Hr.

Shift: Day, Monday – Friday, Possible OT Saturday

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a stand-up forklift safely and efficiently to handle various materials and products.
  • Load and unload trucks, stack and store merchandise in designated areas.
  • Perform daily equipment checks and routine maintenance on the forklift.
  • Ensure all safety guidelines and procedures are followed, including proper handling of hazardous materials.
  • Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse or storage area.
  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders and requests.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to coordinate tasks and resolve issues.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including quality standards and workplace safety regulations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Valid forklift operator certification/license.
  • Proven experience operating a stand-up forklift in a warehouse or similar environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately perform data entry tasks.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in data entry software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with the role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
