Simi Valley, CA | Full-Time | First Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)

Exact Staff is hiring dexterous and earnest Forklift Operators for our client, a major manufacturer and distributor of wind chimes and other front porch items, at their warehouse in Simi Valley, CA. This is a traditional stand-up forklift operator position where good attention to detail is paramount. This is a steady, full-time opportunity with weekly pay.

This position is ideal for individuals with forklift operating experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Help load and unload trucks
• Load products onto pallets and use the forklift to transport items to trucks safely and consistently
• Work with the Shipping and Receiving department on large orders
• Operate a Bendi forklift to navigate narrow aisles with the requisite items
• Scan boxes to ensure they match the order
• Follow established safety procedures and perform a quick equipment check to ensure everything is working properly
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience working as a Forklift Operator
• Current Forklift OSHA certification from an independent party, available to provide upon request (required)
• Open to commuting to Simi Valley; living reasonably close preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Good attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Able to work the scheduled hours
• Open to working overtime if needed
• Follows instructions well and pays attention to direction given

Pay, Schedule, and Location:

• Pay Rate: 18.50 - 20.00
• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
• Shifts Available: First Shift, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Location: Simi Valley, CA
