Sacramento, CA | Full-Time | Heavy Travel, Overnight Assignments

Exact Staff is hiring a dependable, outgoing, and customer-focused Traveling Driver / Audiometric Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position that combines driving a 30-ft mobile unit with providing on-site hearing testing and hearing conservation services for customers. This is a steady, full-time opportunity offering weekly pay, lots of overtime, and paid travel expenses.

Our technicians travel throughout California and other Western states, including Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana. Overnight travel is common, including trips to San Diego, Las Vegas, and other locations. Hotels and meals are paid for during overnight assignments.

This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable, professional, comfortable driving a large vehicle, enjoy traveling, and take pride in providing excellent customer service.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Safely drive and operate a 30-ft mobile hearing-testing truck
• Travel to customer locations for scheduled assignments
• Perform on-site hearing testing and hearing conservation services
• Provide professional and exceptional customer service
• Assist with hearing conservation training and related services
• Complete basic computer and administrative tasks
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional mobile unit
• Work independently and maintain a dependable schedule

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license / REAL ID
• Clean driving record
• Ability and willingness to drive a 30-ft box truck and 2-3 years prior experience 
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a DOT physical/exam
• Ability to pass a federal background check
• Basic computer skills, including Word and Excel
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight as needed
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
• CAOHC certification preferred but not required — training and certification provided as needed

Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Pay Rate: $22.00/hour + overtime
• Schedule: Full-Time
• Shifts Available: Varies by assignment; overnight travel required
• Location: Sacramento, CA (heavy travel throughout CA, NV, AZ, OR, WA, ID, MT)
