We are currently looking for TRAVELING medical assistants to join our organization.
We release monthly schedules that allow YOU the flexibility to opt in to support our doctors and patients on days that are convenient for you.

Location: Los Angeles, CA
Shift: Monday thru Sunday shifts available. Times vary.
Pay Rate: $20 + mileage + bonus incentives

Front Office Duties

·         Handing out, assisting with, and collecting Patient Intake Paperwork, as one of the first steps of the medical evaluation

·         Collecting patient identification upon arrival, and taking  pictures of the ID documentation

·         Collecting credentials/licenses belonging to medical interpreters/translators that some patients will have come with them, and taking picture of said credentials as part of the check-in process.

 

Back Office Duties

·         Taking patient measurements, potentially of both the upper and lower extremities of the body. This includes but is not limited:
                -the arms- bicep, tricep, and forearm areas
                -the legs- thigh, knee, calf, ankle areas

·         Testing patient’s grip strength using the “Grip Tester” Instrument

·         Tidying of the examination rooms and front desk area used before leaving for the day

 

Requirements:

·         Previous experience as a front or back office medical assistant highly preferred

·         Medical Assistant Diplomas and Certifications strongly encouraged

·         Valid identification that proves your right to work in the United States

·         As a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a drug screen and background check.
