Job Description:
Exact Staff is hiring Warehouse Associates to support a busy flower distribution company in Vernon, CA as they prepare for the Mother’s Day peak season. This is a fast-paced warehouse environment with significant overtime opportunities for individuals who are ready to work and earn extra pay.
- Warehouse Associate – Flower Distribution (Mother’s Day Season)
- Location: Vernon, CA
- Pay: $17.50 per hour
This position is ideal for people who enjoy hands-on work, staying active during their shift, and working as part of a team in a warehouse environment that helps deliver fresh flowers across the region.
Flower Production Line
- De-stem flowers and prepare floral products
- Sort and arrange flowers for packaging
- Pack and label flower bundles and arrangements
- Use RF scanners to track inventory and orders
- Prepare shipments for distribution
Inventory / Overstock Support
- Load and unload flower inventory
- Move boxes and product throughout the warehouse
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks
- Assist with inventory organization and stock movement
Work Environment
- Cool warehouse environment to preserve fresh flowers (not a freezer)
- Fast-paced production and distribution setting
- Standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift
Requirements
- Comfortable working in a cool warehouse environment
- Able to work long shifts (up to 12 hours) when needed
- Available to work up to 6 days per week during peak season
- Ability to lift and move boxes of product
