Exact Staff is hiring for our client! We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Demand Planner to join a growing food manufacturing team in Sanger, CA. This position is responsible for forecasting customer demand, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and supporting production planning to ensure products are available when needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, and ERP systems within a manufacturing environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data, customer trends, and production schedules
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate raw materials, packaging, and finished goods are available while minimizing excess inventory
• Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Sales, and Customer Service teams to support production planning and customer demand
• Analyze inventory trends and recommend adjustments to improve efficiency and reduce waste
• Create and manage production planning reports using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Monitor product availability and communicate potential shortages or supply risks
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation activities
• Maintain accurate planning records, forecasts, and inventory documentation
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inventory management and supply chain performance
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and quality procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years of demand planning, production planning, supply chain, inventory control, or materials planning experience required
• Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• ERP/MRP system experience required
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed planning decisions
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while managing multiple priorities

Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Pay Rate: $22 - $24/hr, DOE
• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts)
• Shift Available: 1st Shift
• Location: Sanger, CA 93657
