General Metal Fabrication Worker
Eugene, OR | Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Day & Swing Shift Available | $18.00–$20.00/hour DOE
Exact Staff is looking for a dependable, motivated, and career-minded General Metal Fabrication Worker to join an established metal fabrication team in Eugene, OR.
This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up consistently, follows through on their responsibilities, and wants to build their skills in a manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate has a stable work history, demonstrates good attendance and reliability, works well with others, and takes safety and quality seriously. Previous manufacturing or metal fabrication experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and commitment to the position.
What You'll Be Doing
- Perform general metal fabrication and production duties as assigned
- Assist with cutting, grinding, drilling, deburring, and finishing metal parts
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment as assigned
- Safely handle and move metal materials and fabricated parts
- Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Follow work instructions, blueprints/prints, and customer specifications when required
- Complete production paperwork accurately and on time
- Communicate professionally with supervisors and team members
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
- Work reliably and cooperatively with the production team to meet deadlines
- Learn new processes and equipment through hands-on training
- Perform additional production duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential
- Previous manufacturing, production, industrial, warehouse, or metal fabrication experience preferred
- Experience using hand tools and power tools is a plus
- Metal fabrication or machine operation experience is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints or production prints is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic math skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Professional attitude and ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to remain productive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Interest in building a stable, long-term career with an established company
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Willingness to complete required company training
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday

Pay, Schedule & Location
- Pay: $18.00–$20.00/hour, depending on experience
- Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
- Shifts: Day Shift and Swing Shift Available
