We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our client’s medical team in Victorville, CA! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front and back-office operations, with a focus on excellent patient care and communication skills. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in our medical practice, interacting directly with patients and ensuring a positive experience. This position requires motivation, dedication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

·         Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations and procedures

·         Take and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration

·         Prepare patients for exams and explain basic procedures

·         Update and maintain patient medical records and documentation

·         Schedule appointments and assist with patient check-in/check-out

·         Maintain clean and organized exam rooms and medical equipment

·         Follow infection control and safety guidelines

Qualifications: 

• Medical Assistant Certification is required. 
• Current BLS Certificate 
• Minimum of 2 years of front and back-office experience in a medical setting. 
• Strong communication skills and confidence in speaking on the phone. 
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook and Excel for scheduling and organization. 
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. 
• Ability to handle a high volume of calls and patient interactions. 
• Additional medical documentation may be required for submission.
