Job Description:

Exact Staff is hiring for our client. We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operators to join a growing manufacturing team in Elkton, MD. This position offers a unique rotating schedule with approximately 14 working days per month, every other weekend off, and opportunities for long-term growth. Candidates must be able to complete a paid training period on the day shift before transitioning to the overnight schedule.

  • Location: Elkton, MD 21921
  • Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
  • Schedule: 2nd Shift | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
  • Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Responsibilities:

  • Operate manufacturing and production equipment safely and efficiently
  • Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout the production process
  • Perform basic machine adjustments, troubleshooting, and operational checks
  • Follow production schedules, work orders, and operating procedures
  • Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintain accurate production and operational documentation
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and workplace safety requirements

Qualifications:

  • Previous machine operator, manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience preferred
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and stand for extended periods
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to complete a 10-day training period on day shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
