Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator / Project Manager to join our growing commercial construction team. This is a key leadership role responsible for both winning work through accurate, competitive estimates and successfully delivering projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $110,000 – $155,000 (based on experience)
- Bonus: 5% of net profit on awarded contracts

Estimator Responsibilities
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents to prepare accurate electrical estimates
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs for labor, materials, and equipment
- Price labor and materials using industry-standard databases and historical data
- Solicit, analyze, and level vendor and subcontractor quotes
- Develop value engineering options to improve bid competitiveness
- Prepare bid proposals, scope letters, and clarifications
- Attend pre-bid meetings and coordinate with general contractors and clients
- Transition awarded projects to project management and field teams
Estimator Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience estimating commercial electrical construction
- Strong understanding of construction documents, NEC, and electrical systems
- Proficiency with estimating software (Accubid, McCormick, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
Project Manager Responsibilities
- Manage commercial electrical projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Develop and control project schedules, budgets, manpower, and procurement
- Coordinate with clients, general contractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications
- Ensure compliance with NEC, local codes, safety standards, and quality requirements
- Collaborate with field supervisors and foremen on daily operations
- Track job costs and profitability in coordination with accounting
- Represent the company professionally at jobsite and client meetings
Project Manager Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing commercial electrical construction projects
- Strong knowledge of NEC, local codes, and construction sequencing
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar platforms
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience preferred
