Exact Staff is hiring for our client, a food manufacturing company in the Arvin area specializing in bite-sized potatoes! We are seeking an experienced Fabrication / Welder Level 3 to lead fabrication projects, provide technical expertise, and oversee complex repairs and equipment modifications that improve production efficiency and reliability.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder or fabricator with 5+ years of industrial fabrication and welding experience and strong leadership abilities. The ideal candidate will have advanced welding, blueprint interpretation, and mechanical troubleshooting skills, along with food manufacturing fabrication experience.

Responsibilities / Qualifications

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading fabrication and welding projects across the facility
• Designing and fabricating custom equipment improvements
• Performing MIG, TIG, Stick, stainless steel, and structural welding
• Coordinating fabrication work during plant shutdowns
• Troubleshooting complex mechanical failures
• Reviewing advanced fabrication drawings, specifications, and layouts
• Training and mentoring fabrication team members
• Coordinating material ordering and project planning
• Ensuring compliance with food safety and welding standards
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
• Working closely with Engineering and Maintenance leadership
• Completing projects safely and efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
• Improving equipment reliability and plant productivity through fabrication improvements
• Demonstrating leadership, problem-solving, and accountability in daily operations
• Following GMP, OSHA, and company safety policies and procedures
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of industrial fabrication and welding experience
• Ability to perform MIG, TIG, Stick, stainless steel, and structural welding
• Strong project management and leadership skills
• Ability to read and interpret advanced blueprints, fabrication drawings, and layouts
• Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical failures
• Ability to coordinate material ordering and project planning
• Ability to follow GMP, OSHA, and company safety policies and procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Forklift and aerial lift certification
• Previous manufacturing or food processing experience
• Advanced blueprint interpretation and layout skills

Pay, Schedule, and Location:

• Pay Rate: $24.80
• Schedule: Full-Time
• Shift: 5:00AM- 1:00PM
• Location: Arvin, CA
