Exact Staff is hiring skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support equipment reliability and production operations in a fast-paced distribution and food processing facility. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities / Qualifications

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment 

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, including pneumatic and basic electrical components 

• Diagnose equipment issues using tools, testing devices, and observation 

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals 

• Conduct routine inspections and document equipment performance and issues 

• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to reduce downtime 

• Maintain and manage parts inventory; assist with sourcing and ordering parts 

• Assemble and repair machine components as needed 

• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and GMP standards 

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas 

Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of industrial maintenance or mechanical experience required 

• Experience in manufacturing or food processing environments preferred 

• Basic understanding of electrical systems, controls, and pneumatics 

• Familiarity with ammonia or refrigeration systems is a plus 

• Ability to safely use hand and power tools 

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills 

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (Spanish bilingual preferred) 

 

Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Pay Rate: $20.05
• Schedule: Full-Time | Seasonal
• Shifts Available: 3rd shift  (9:00PM – 5:30AM)
• Location: Arvin, CA
