Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our client’s medical team in Fresno, CA! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front and back-office operations, with a focus on excellent patient care and communication skills. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in our medical practice, interacting directly with patients and ensuring a positive experience. - Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
- Pay Rate: $21.00/HR
Responsibilities:
- Make outgoing calls to schedule appointments and confirm schedules with patients.
- Answer inbound calls and provide assistance to patients with inquiries.
- Collect co-pays from patients and verify insurance eligibility.
- Utilize Microsoft Outlook and Excel for efficient organization and management of tasks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Collaborate with team members and medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant Certification is required.
- Current BLS Certificate
- Minimum of 2 years of front and back-office experience in a medical setting.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in speaking on the phone.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook and Excel for scheduling and organization.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle a high volume of calls and patient interactions.
- Additional medical documentation may be required for submission.
