Exact Staff is hiring a dependable, detail-oriented Roaster II to join a fast-paced coffee manufacturing team. This hands-on position involves operating industrial roasting equipment, maintaining product quality, and supporting daily production goals. This position is ideal for individuals with manufacturing, production, industrial equipment, or coffee roasting experience.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Roasting: Operate, clean, and perform routine maintenance on Probat R1000 and R1500R roasters, afterburners, and Praxis green coffee scale/feed systems
• Blending: Operate and maintain Ponderosa blending tables and conveyor systems
• Grinding: Operate and maintain MPE 66 and 700WC industrial grinders
• Monitor roasting temperatures, times, and quality specifications to ensure consistent production standards
• Maintain accurate roasting logs, inventory records, and production documentation
• Handle, rotate, and replenish raw materials and finished products
• Perform routine equipment inspections, cleaning, and basic maintenance
• Follow food safety, GMP, and workplace safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Industrial equipment or coffee roasting experience a plus
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work overtime or weekends when needed
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including occasional lifting of up to 100 lbs
• Comfortable working around industrial machinery, noise, and production equipment

Pay, Schedule, and Location:

• Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
• Schedule: Full-Time, 4x10, Monday-Thursday (three-day weekends)
