Exact Staff is hiring for our client and is seeking a dependable Inventory Clerk / Material Handler to support warehouse and production operations in a manufacturing environment. If you have experience with inventory control, material handling, or warehouse operations, we'd love to hear from you!

Position Details

Job Title: Inventory Clerk / Material Handler
Pay Rate: $18.00–$20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM (schedule may change during the busy season)
Overtime: Required

What You'll Be Doing

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments
• Verify deliveries against packing slips
• Organize inventory and maintain accurate warehouse stock
• Perform cycle counts and update inventory records
• Inspect incoming materials for damage or defects
• Stage materials for production and scheduled work orders
• Work closely with purchasing, scheduling, and production teams to ensure material availability

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehouse, inventory, or manufacturing experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Experience using ERP systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to read work orders
• Blueprint reading and steel material knowledge are a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
