Valencia, CA | Full-Time | 1st & 2nd Shift Available (weekends as needed)

Exact Staff is hiring experienced Warehouse & Forklift Operators for a growing pet food and consumer products organization with a large-scale warehouse and distribution operation in Valencia, CA. This is a hybrid warehouse position, meaning employees will split their time between operating forklifts and performing hands-on warehouse work. The ideal candidate has strong experience operating both stand-up reach and sit-down forklifts and is comfortable performing manual warehouse labor, including building pallets from the floor, moving product, and lifting bags weighing up to 50 lbs. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with weekly pay.

This position is ideal for individuals with warehouse and forklift operating experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Safely operate both stand-up reach and sit-down forklifts
• Use RF scanners to receive, locate, move, and track inventory
• Operate pallet jacks, wrapping equipment, and other manual warehouse tools
• Move, stack, and organize products throughout the warehouse
• Build pallets from the floor and prepare products for shipment or storage
• Perform manual warehouse tasks in addition to forklift operation
• Follow inventory, shipping, and warehouse procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Lift, carry, and stack products weighing up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
• Stand, walk, bend, reach, and move for extended periods in a fast-paced warehouse
• Work safely around forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Maintain awareness of surroundings, alarms, horns, and other safety signals
• Follow proper lifting techniques and all safety procedures
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
• Be flexible and assist with various warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse experience required
• Strong forklift experience required — must be proficient operating both stand-up reach and sit-down forklifts
• RF scanner experience required
• Experience using pallet jacks and wrapping equipment preferred
• Ability to perform manual warehouse labor in addition to forklift operation
• Ability to build pallets from the floor and perform heavy lifting
• Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 lbs continuously throughout the shift
• Strong attention to safety and situational awareness
• Reliable attendance and ability to work a full-time schedule
• Flexibility to work schedule changes and overtime as needed
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, stretch, squat, and twist

Pay, Schedule, and Location:

• Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
• Schedule: Full-Time (weekends as needed)
• Shifts Available:
  • 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 4:00 AM–12:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–8:30 PM
• Location: Valencia, CA
