Exact Staff is hiring a Dietary Aide for our client, a private hospital in Boyle Heights, CA. We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join the hospital's nutrition department and support the delivery of safe, nutritious meals to patients. The ideal candidate understands dietary restrictions, follows strict food safety and sanitation standards, and is comfortable working in a healthcare environment where attention to detail and patient well-being are essential. This is a steady, full-time opportunity with weekly pay in a meaningful healthcare setting.

This position is ideal for individuals with Dietary Aide, Food Service Worker, or healthcare/hospital food service experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Prep (not cook) and serve meals according to patients' prescribed diets, allergies, and dietary restrictions
• Review patient meal information and ensure meals are prepared accurately based on nutritional requirements and medical diagnoses
• Deliver meals to patients and provide courteous, professional service
• Communicate meal and nutrition information to patients and families as needed
• Gather patient feedback and report concerns or dietary issues to the Dietary Manager
• Work closely with nutritionists and dietitians to ensure meals comply with prescribed dietary guidelines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and food preparation area
• Properly sanitize equipment, work surfaces, and food preparation areas
• Safely dispose of contaminated or expired food items in accordance with hospital and food safety standards
• Monitor kitchen inventory and ensure adequate ingredients and supplies are available

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Dietary Aide, Food Service Worker, Hospital Food Service Worker, or similar healthcare/food service role preferred
• Experience with patient charting, meal documentation, or dietary records
• Knowledge of nutritional limitations, food allergies, and special dietary restrictions
• Understanding of meal preparation based on patients' dietary needs and medical conditions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow dietary instructions accurately
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to maintain strict kitchen safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
• Reliable, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Pay, Schedule, and Location:

• Pay Rate: $20.00–$22.00/hour, DOE
• Schedule: Full-Time, Sunday–Wednesday
• Shifts Available: 5:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Location: Boyle Heights, CA
• Must be able to work the full Sunday–Wednesday schedule, including the 5:00 AM start time
