Exact Staff is hiring for our client, a fast-paced pet supply fulfillment center in Valencia, CA. We are seeking experienced and motivated Forklift Operators for a dual, hybrid role involving truck unloading, inventory management with RF scanners, and operating sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and pallet jacks. This role is physically active and a great fit for someone who enjoys staying fit while getting the job done.

This position is ideal for individuals with sit-down forklift, stand-up reach forklift, warehouse, or fulfillment center experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Operating pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other manual warehouse tools and equipment
• Performing repetitive, physically demanding work, including bending, lifting, carrying, and moving materials
• Continuously lifting, carrying, and stacking bags of pet food throughout the full shift
• Building pallets from the floor up
• Bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods
• Moving quickly and safely throughout the warehouse
• Maintaining high situational awareness and staying alert to auditory and visual safety signals, such as forklift horns, back-up alarms, and verbal warnings
• Reacting immediately to environmental cues to ensure personal and team safety in a heavy-machinery environment
• Restocking and organizing products by category (bags, boxes, cans, flavors, etc.)
• Assisting in unloading truckloads for the shipping and receiving department
• Following proper lifting techniques and ergonomic practices to ensure workplace safety
• Taking direction well as a punctual, reliable, hardworking, and respectful team player

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 months of sit-down forklift experience
• Minimum 6 months of stand-up reach forklift experience
• Experience with RF scanners required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for long hours
• Ability to take direction and follow instructions
• Comfortable with schedule changes and overtime

Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Pay Rate: $21.00/hr
• Schedule: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 8PM–4:30AM
• Location: Valencia, CA
