Exact Staff is seeking for experienced and motivated Forklift Operators to assist in a fast-paced pet supply fulfillment center in Valencia, CA! This role requires you to have experience with rf scanners, forklifts (Sit down and Standup), pallet jacks, and unloading trucks loads. This position requires the ability to work in fast-paced environments, great attention to detail, and completion of tasks in a timely and efficient matter.

• Full Time, Temp to Hire 
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 40 hours
• All shifts (Start times: 4AM Mornings, 12PM Afternoon, and 8PM Nights)
• Pay Rate: $21.00/HR 
• Location: Valencia, CA

Responsibilities:

·         Experienced with using manual tools and equipment, like pallet jacks and RF scanners.

·         Capable of repetitive strenuous work (bending, lifting, carrying, moving, etc)

• Capable of completing strenuous work, including continuously lifting, carrying, and stacking bags of pet food throughout full shift
• Comfortable with building pallets from floor up.
• Ability to perform tasks involving bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
• Must be light on their feet, with the ability to move quickly and safely throughout the warehouse.
• Must maintain high situational awareness and always stay alert to identify and respond to auditory and visual safety signals, such as forklift horns, back-up alarms, and verbal warnings.
• Ability to perceive and react immediately to environmental cues to ensure personal safety and the safety of the team in a heavy- machinery environment.
• Ability to restock products and organize through category, like bags, boxes, cans, flavors, etc
• Ability to assist in unloading truck loads for the shipping and receiving department  
• Adhere to proper lifting techniques and ergonomic practices to ensure workplace safety.
• Must be able to take directions well, team player, hard worker, punctual, good attendance, good attendance, friendly, & respectful.

 

Qualifications:

·         Minimum 6 months of experience with sit down forklift

·         Minimum 6 months of experience with stand-up reach

·         Must have experience with RF Scanners

·         Ability to work in fast paced environments

·         Ability to stand on feet for long hours

·         Ability to take directions and follow instructions

·         Must have high school diploma or GED

·         Must be comfortable with schedule changes and overtime
