Exact Staff is hiring Label Operators for a growing food and beverage manufacturing client. This is a great opportunity for hands-on workers looking for steady hours, weekly pay, and the chance to grow within a fast-paced production environment. The Label Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring labeling equipment to ensure bottles are accurately labeled according to production specifications, supporting packaging operations by maintaining equipment performance and product quality.

This position is ideal for individuals with experience in food, beverage, or tea manufacturing, and a strong attention to detail.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Operate and adjust automated labeling equipment
• Load labels and packaging materials
• Verify label placement, coding, and print quality
• Perform equipment setup and changeovers for different products
• Monitor production efficiency and reduce downtime
• Inspect finished products for quality defects
• Complete production documentation
• Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance
• Follow GMP, food safety, and company safety procedures
• Assist with other packaging line operations as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience in food, beverage, or tea manufacturing preferred
• Previous manufacturing or packaging experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods (approximately 90% of the workday)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and occasionally more with assistance
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to wet, hot, or humid conditions, moving machinery, hot liquids, occasional airborne particles/fumes, and loud noise levels

Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (DOE)
• Schedule: Must be flexible to work either shift as needed
• Shifts Available: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM or 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Location: Bakersfield, CA
