Exact Staff is hiring Filler Operators for a growing food and beverage manufacturing client. This is a great opportunity for hands-on workers looking for steady hours, weekly pay, and the chance to grow within a fast-paced production environment. The Filler Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and adjusting bottle filling equipment to ensure products are filled accurately, safely, and efficiently while meeting company quality and food safety standards.

This position is ideal for individuals with experience in food, beverage, or tea manufacturing, and a strong understanding of equipment operation and safety procedures.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Operate and monitor automated filling machines
• Perform startup, shutdown, and product changeovers
• Verify fill levels, bottle integrity, and product quality
• Monitor production rates and minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and notify maintenance when necessary
• Complete production records and quality documentation
• Follow GMP, HACCP, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with line cleaning and sanitation between production runs
• Work closely with Quality Assurance and Maintenance teams

Qualifications:

• Experience in food, beverage, or tea manufacturing preferred
• Minimum 2 years of filler operator experience in a bottling or manufacturing environment
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols
• Basic math and computer skills for batching software and production documentation
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods (approximately 90% of the workday)
• Frequent use of hands for handling materials and operating equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and occasionally more with assistance
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to wet, hot, or humid conditions, moving machinery, hot liquids, occasional airborne particles/fumes, and loud noise levels

Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (DOE)
• Schedule: Must be flexible to work either shift as needed
• Shifts Available: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM or 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Location: Bakersfield, CA
